Each set of minutes are separated by a horiztonal line. 2264 Special Counsil June 21, 2021 A Special Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Rex Stoddard at 6:30pm with Councillors, Irene Baker, Russell Atkinson, Trudy Quinlan, present. Additions to the Agenda: Town Back Hoe Legion Rental Simon Pont Approval of the Agenda: It was moved by Councillor Atkinson and seconded by Councillor Quinlan the Agenda be approved as presented. New Business: Interviews for Summer Employment: Harrison Atkinson @ 6:45pm Conor Ross @ 6:55pm Council Interviewed Harrison and voted to give him the job and to start immediately. Additions : Town Backhoe- It was asked if the town backhoe could be used to take the floating docks to the hawk to be used for cape days. It was moved by Councillor Baker and seconded by Councillor Quinlan that the backhoe may be used. Motion carried, unanimously. Legion rental- Tammy and Dwayne Atwood were asking to use the legion for a reception for their son. It was moved by Councillor Baker and seconded by Councillor Quinlan that a donation be accepted for the fee. Motion carried, unanimously. Simon Pont – Simon Pont started his charity bike ride for prostate cancer on June 20 from the Clark’s Harbour Town Hall. It was moved by Councillor Quinlan and seconded by Councillor Atkinson to donate $100 to Simon Pont’s Fundraiser. Motion carried, unanimously.
