Each set of minutes are separated by a horiztonal line. 2237 Regular Session Town Council November 03, 2020 The Regular Session of Town Council was called to order by Mayor Stoddart at 6:58 pm with Councillor Stoddard, Councillor Quinlan, Councillor Link, Councillor Baker, and Councillor Atkinson in attendance. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA: It was moved by Councillor Quinlan, seconded by Councillor Atkinson to approve the agenda as circulated. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES: It was moved by Councillor Baker and seconded by Councillor Atkinson to approve the previous minutes. Motion Carried unanimously. APPOINTMENTS: None MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES: None REPORTS Streets, Sewers and Unsightly Premises: Public Works Report was presented to Council and discussed. It was reported that Tenders will be received until November 20 at 3pm for the construction of Public works Maintenance Building. A meeting will take place after the 20th. 2238 Recreation: Building Inspectors Report: No report at this time, will be reporting for 2 months at next regular meeting of council. Mayor/Councillors: No meetings to report. CORRESPONDENCE: None NEW BUSINESS: Swearing in of New Council and Mayor: Mayor Leigh Stoddart performed the swearing in of the Councillors: Trudy Quinlan, Irene Baker, Louann Link and Russell Atkinson. Mayor Leigh Stoddart then swore in The new Mayor Rex Stoddard and handed the meeting over to him to Chair. Selection of Deputy Mayor: Councillor Trudy Quinlan was nominated by Councillor Atkinson and accepted the nomination for Deputy Mayor. Mayor Stoddard called for further nominations three times with no further nominations. Motion carried unanimously. It was moved by Councillor Baker and Seconded by Councillor Quinlan to come out of camera at 7:46pm.Motion Carried unanimously. It was moved by Councillor Baker and Seconded by Councillor Quinlan that the office hours at the Town Hall be changed to 8- 3:30 pm from the current 9-4:30pm, closed 12-1 daily for lunch Monday to Friday .
